Feeding: Still feeding on a pretty consistent schedule every three hours 6oz of formula. She is eating pretty much everything. She loves blueberries but doesn't really care for spicy food.
Sleeping: Parker goes to bed routinely at 8:00pm every night and either sleeps until 6:30am or wakes up once for a bottle.
Milestones:
Parker started walking everywhere and all of the time. I even saw her run a little the other day when I turned on the vacuum.
Feeding: 6:30am, 8:30am, 11:30am, 2:30pm, 5:30pm and 7:30pm (and whenever she wakes up in the night.)
Likes: Taking a bath, when we warm up the water she stands on the side of the tub. Sometimes when we are home I find her in the bathroom standing by the side of the tub just waiting for someone to give her a bath.
Dislikes: Eating vegetables. Since we have started more table foods vegetables are just not her favorite thing.
Milestones: While watching the Chiefs game last week Parker showed us she can now clap her hands to cheer. She is standing alone for short periods of time. It is scary to think she will be walking in just a few months. She has started to shake her head "No."
Parker Celebrated her first Christmas and New Years.
We have added more table foods but we are still giving her blended fruit and vegetables at each table setting.
Sleep: What is that!? We have been on a sleep roller coaster since I went back to work. Mainly because Parker cannot stay healthy. Most recently she had an ear infection in her right ear that was immediately followed by a double ear infection. Our little one cannot catch a break which leaves to a lack of sleeping through the night.

Loves her big brother.
Dislikes: Eating vegetables. Since we have started more table foods vegetables are just not her favorite thing.

Parker Celebrated her first Christmas and New Years.
Painted her toe nails for the first time.
Parker eats three full meals a day with other snacks and bottles in between. At one of her many doctor appointments over the last month we were told she needed to eat more because she was not keeping up with her growth curve.
Sleeping: Let me start by saying since our Disney trip and December Parker has had four double ear infections. (We have an appointment with the ENT but not until next month...) Sleeping is just not something that comes easy when you don't feel good. Most nights she will sleep from 8pm to 12am then it's always a guessing game after that. We did have a few weeks after she got a penicillin shot where she slept consistently through the night.
Milestones:
Watching Super Bowl 50.
She has a few words like ma ma, dad da, uh oh, and shakes her head NO!
Everything on the floor goes in her mouth, you literally have to watch her like a hawk.
Eating: We are still doing 5oz bottles every three hours. (8:30, 11:30, 2:30, 5:30, and 8) Most of her feedings are at the bottle still with breast milk. Our feedings in the middle of the night are the only feedings without a bottle.
Parker still takes her baby food (fruits and vegetables) at lunch and dinner. At Disney World we started to branch out by eating more table food, so at dinner we always offer her baby food first but she ends up mainly eating whatever we are eating.
Sleeping: This is a sore subject in our house...Let's just say we haven't slept through the night in a long time. At times we get 6 to 7 hours straight but it is really inconsistent.
Likes: Chewing on straws, baby puffs, tags, anything she can pull up to, waking up in the middle of the night, peaches and pears
Dislikes: Men with beards, crying in her crib, cold bottles, squash
Milestones:
First airplane ride...she did great!
Feedings: Still feeding 5 oz every three hours starting at 7:30, 10:30, 1, 4, 6 and 8. She is not really interested in her first bottle or her bottle at 6pm. I have thought about changing her schedule to start at 6am and do bottles consistently every 3 hours. We have started one fruit and one vegetable a day. Her current favorite is peaches. We have tried peas, squash, sweet potatoes, pears, peaches and apples.
Sleeping: I remember when Porter was six months he slept very well. Parker has been so inconsistent partly because she has been sick off and on. Although the past two nights she slept eight hours straight! This is big time for her. Ever since she went to bottles and since I went back to work we have only had a few nights where she has slept past four hours straight.
Likes:
-Current favorite thing to play with is any plastic bag.
-Her daddy! She loves Drew and Porter. When either around she smiles the biggest grin I have ever seen.
-Holding a taggie when she sleeps.
-Her bottle warmed. She will not drink it cold for me.
Dislikes:
-When mommy leaves the room.
-Getting into her car seat.
-Wearing her bow. It is a battle to keep that thing on.
-Being changed on the changing table.
Milestones:
-We are mobile! Parker crawls short distances. She has not discovered that crawling could change her world. Currently it is more of a convenience when she really wants a toy.
-First ear infection
-Celebrated the Royals winking the World Series!!
-Added the word DaDa to her vocabulary.
-Started signing "more" and "all done."
-Pulling herself up on all tables and in her crib.
Rode in the cart with brother for the first time, at Target.
Played in a fort made of pillows.
Woke up to celebrate a World Series win for the Royals!!!
Went to Worlds of Fun for the first time.
Swinging at the park.
Parker is half a year old! It is crazy to think how fast time goes.
Feeding: We are still feeding the same bottle schedule 7:30, 10:30, 1, 4, 6 and 8. Each feeding had been 5 oz per bottle but lately Parker has had a dip in her appetite. She does not want to be on a schedule and she does not want to eat her entire bottle at once. This could be from being ill for the past few weeks. She is also easily distracted so feeding has become a difficult task especially when having to feed in public under the breastfeeding cover,
We started puréed food at night. Currently her favorite food is apples. We have tried green beans, corn, sweet potatoes, apples, and bananas.
Sleep: Our sleep length has changed since I went back to work. At one time she was sleeping 12 hours straight. Currently she is sleeping from 8-3:30 then eating and back to sleep until 6am when we go to work.
Likes: Playing with toys in the bathtub, sitting at the dinner table in her high chair, reading books (or chewing on them), chewing on everything, placing everything in her mouth, watching Porter
Dislikes: Getting into the car seat, taking her toys away, getting out of the bathtub
Parker said her first word and it was Momma!
Airplane with daddy.
S'mores with mommy.
Saturday morning play time.
Hugs from brother.
Clothes size: 6 months (can still wear some 3-6 months)
Sleep: I think Parker has slept two times through the night in the past month. Most nights she sleeps from 8pm to 3am. Some nights she wakes up multiple times! Drew and I actually prefer her to wake up at 3am as opposed to 4am. We both wake up around 5am so we really do not go back to sleep once she is up at 4. Parker is really good at putting herself to sleep. At night after her last feeding I lay her in her crib and she almost immediately falls asleep. When she wakes up in the middle of the night she is just talking away in her crib. She usually only cries when Drew changes her diaper.
Feeding: with Parker going to two different babysitters during the week I wanted to try to get a consistent schedule that worked for everyone. It definitely took some work to get her on a schedule. Sometimes she is stubborn and she wants to eat when she wants to eat. Right now she is feeding at 7:30am, 10:30am, 1:00pm, 4:00pm, 6:00pm and 8:00pm. We are feeding her basically every 3 hours 5 oz bottles. The last two feedings are with me so I do not feed with a bottle. I am unsure how much milk she is really eating.
Likes: toys, holding items in her hands, Porter, watching tv (bad for her I know, but I cannot keep her eyes off of it), holding her feet, rocking back and forth, reaching for any type of cup
Dislikes: Being alone in a room by herself, unless it is to sleep, her car seat, having her diaper changed in the middle of the night
Milestones: sitting up, rolling over both front to back and back to front, scooting around in a circle, trying to pull herself up (not completing successfully), many signs of teething: drooling, rubbing at ear, small fever, uninterested in bottle
