Four years later I can still remember the moment I became a mom. I remember the night Porter was born as I watched the nurses give him a bath and I thought I have no idea what I am doing. Here we are now and it has been a pretty great four years. 
Porter is very shy at first but once you get to know him he will run around crazy to get your attention. In a large group he does not like to be forced to "perform." Unless it has to do with sports.
Porter has an small obsession with baseball, soccer...well I guess all sports. As we watch the KC Royals play Porter has to do whatever Salvy does. If he is catching then Porter has to wear his catchers gear. If Salvy is hitting then he has a bat in his hand. He is a big fan of dress up his favorite outfit at the time is a storm trooper costume. 
When Porter grows up he wants to be an astronaut. He tells me that him, Daddy, and Grandpa are going to the moon one day. He loves watching movies with a space theme.

This summer was pretty amazing! It's been nice to have two toddlers who can interact and play with eachother. I tried to make it through the alphabet on table time but we were so busy everyday we only made it through the letter J. I still think he learned a few things.
Porter played teeball.
Played in boxes.
Parker got her ears pierced.
Played at a splash pad.
Went to the zoo.
Went to Worlds and Oceans of Fun.
Played dress up.
Went to the Royals game.
Went swimming.

Such an easy way to spruce up some fruit for a holiday party. I cut the lid off of the blue berries but this way I can still use it.

Every summer Drew runs the softball league for church on Sunday afternoons. We try not to travel on the weekends in the summer, so he doesn't miss a game. We went to Branson on a Tuesday and came back on a Thursday. Porter started teeball which was on Tuesday and Thursday night, so we had to schedule our trip around this schedule as well. (I feel like the life of an athletes mom has already began and he is three.)
Our second day was spent at White Water.
It was a short but sweet time spent with our little family.
Our first day we went to Silver Dollar City.
Rode go-carts at the Track.
