I love to make my room inviting and these past two years my theme has been "sports science". I use the jerseys to identify the table names as colors. This is a part of my classroom management. I use the tables to give positive and negatives points. At the end of each class the students keep track of their score and place it on the room score board. The team at the and of he week gets a small prize and the team at the end of the semester gets a larger prize.
