Ingredients
Clothes size: 6 months (can still wear some 3-6 months)
Sleep: I think Parker has slept two times through the night in the past month. Most nights she sleeps from 8pm to 3am. Some nights she wakes up multiple times! Drew and I actually prefer her to wake up at 3am as opposed to 4am. We both wake up around 5am so we really do not go back to sleep once she is up at 4. Parker is really good at putting herself to sleep. At night after her last feeding I lay her in her crib and she almost immediately falls asleep. When she wakes up in the middle of the night she is just talking away in her crib. She usually only cries when Drew changes her diaper.
Feeding: with Parker going to two different babysitters during the week I wanted to try to get a consistent schedule that worked for everyone. It definitely took some work to get her on a schedule. Sometimes she is stubborn and she wants to eat when she wants to eat. Right now she is feeding at 7:30am, 10:30am, 1:00pm, 4:00pm, 6:00pm and 8:00pm. We are feeding her basically every 3 hours 5 oz bottles. The last two feedings are with me so I do not feed with a bottle. I am unsure how much milk she is really eating.
Likes: toys, holding items in her hands, Porter, watching tv (bad for her I know, but I cannot keep her eyes off of it), holding her feet, rocking back and forth, reaching for any type of cup
Dislikes: Being alone in a room by herself, unless it is to sleep, her car seat, having her diaper changed in the middle of the night
Milestones: sitting up, rolling over both front to back and back to front, scooting around in a circle, trying to pull herself up (not completing successfully), many signs of teething: drooling, rubbing at ear, small fever, uninterested in bottle
Drews company does a children's carnival every year. This years theme was a walk in the park. Here was our activity/ station.
We used a wardrobe box from Ace Hardware. Covered it with blue paper using packing tape. I traced the monkey on white paper from my projector. We used washable paints to paint George. After painting we cut him out and used two sided tape to tape to blue paper. I cut out the clouds with the extra white paper and also taped those to the blue paper. Last drew cut a door out in the back for kids to step into and a hole for the face. We had to hold down the box with center blocks so it would not blow away.
